IMPORTANT: Course structure and time commitment This is a 6 credit-point course, equivalent to 180 workload hours; not all of them are contact hours. The remaining hours will involve work in your own time, both before, during, and after the course. A large part of that work contributes to the portfolio that your grade is based on. There will be some work required BEFORE the course. Also note that the course depends on active participation on your part. The block structure may not leave you enough time to adequately prepare during the course, particularly during the first week. To help you structure your time, and also give us enough time to provide feedback, we require: Other files, involving work in your own time on certain tasks (as specified at the introductory meeting or during the course) will be uploaded before or, in some cases, during the block course. After the block course, you will submit a final written assignment; the submission deadline for which will be communicated during the course (or the introductory meeting). TAKE-HOME MESSAGE: If you think that you will not be able to find the required time before, during, and after the course, or have conflicts with the scheduled contact hours, please de-register and permit others to take part. |
