Comment/Description

In dem Seminar werden soziologische Perspektiven auf Militär und Gesellschaft theoretisch vertieft. Im Mittelpunkt stehen gemeinsame Lektüren von Texten von Michel Foucault zu Macht und Gouvernementalität, von Erving Goffmans zu Institutionen und Körperpraktiken und von Ulrich Bröckling zur Gouvernementalität des militärischen Selbst.
Vorbereitende Lektüre:
Soeters, Joseph (2018): Sociology and Military Studies. Classical and Current Foundations. London: Routledge.
