Participants The course is aimed at students of all subjects (except Computer Science, Business Informatics and Mathematics with minor Computer Science) who are interested in computer science.
The workload is 6KP, i.e. up to 180 working hours.

Learning organisation Lecture with Tutorials
Lectures materials are in English. The lecture is held in German.
In the accompanying tutorials (in German only!), exercises are discussed, but also actively worked on their solution. The tutors will support you with the exercises on programming in Python.
Performance record Written exam at the end of the lecture period with the possibility of resitting before the start of the lecture period of the winter semester.
The exam and the re-exam's questions and tasks will be in English. Answers may be in German or English.
The exam is also aimed at students who require an exam in the inf962 module.

Comment/Description

This course introduces basic concepts of Computer Science and also a short introduction to programming in the programming language Python.
The lecture is in German, but it is accompanied with videos in German and slides in English..
