Comment/Description

Morfologische modellen

In dit vak behandelen we het volgende theoretische vraagstuk: worden woorden in dezelfde module in het brein gebouwd als zinnen of bouwen we eerst woorden in een aparte module om ze daarna te gebruiken als we zinnen bouwen? We bespreken werk van taalkundigen die hebben bijgedragen aan dit debat. Sommige data wijzen in de richting van de ene aanname, andere data ondersteunen de andere. We bespreken daarbij zowel theoretisch als experimenteel werk. Je leert empirische bewijzen en argumenten af te wegen en taalkunde artikels te lezen. We bestuderen voornamelijk Nederlands taalmateriaal, maar ook andere Germaanse talen komen aan bod.
