Research Data Management for doctoral researchers at the beginning of her work
Description:
This introductory workshop gives new doctoral researchers a practical overview of research data management across the full project lifecycle, from planning and organizing data to documenting, storing, sharing, and preserving it. It introduces the basics of writing a Data Management Plan, explains the FAIR data principles, and shows how to prepare data for publication in a repository or alongside a thesis or article. Participants will also learn about essential practical topics such as file naming, folder structures, metadata, version control, storage and backup, documentation, and ethical and legal considerations. The workshop is designed to help you build good habits early and manage their research data in a way that is efficient, reproducible, and reusable.
