Being able to critically review your writing is a valuable skill to develop. This workshop will cover the most common mistakes, correcting them, how to revise sentences for clarity, and improve the structure of papers. We will also review some style formalities of English academic writing and punctuation, especially the comma.
This workshop will also cover how to write abstracts, what to include and what to exclude. Although abstracts are found at the beginning of many formal academic texts, they are often one of the last things written. For conferences, they may be the only ting specifically written.
Please note that registration for this workshop is open to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers of the university and only available via the website of the Graduate Academy: https://uol.de/p43658
