Course content:

The ACQUITY UPLC System eliminates significant time and cost per sample from your analytical process while improving the quality of your results. By outperforming traditional or optimized HPLC, this technology allows chromatographers to work at higher efficiencies with a much wider range of linear velocities, flow rates, and backpressures.

Workshop 1: ACQUITY QDa Detector - ein Massenspektrometer für MS-Einsteiger
• Aufbau und Besonderheiten des ACQUITY QDa Detectors
• Praktische Übungen mit dem ACQUITY QDa Detektor im Labor: Bestimmung von Koffein in entkoffeiniertem Kaffee
• Erstellen und Optimieren von QDa-Methoden in der Empower Software
• Erfassung von Full Scan- und SIR-Daten

Workshop 2: ACQUITY UPLC System - Troubleshooting & Wartungsarbeiten:
• Überprüfung der Performance, Troubleshooting & Diagnosetests der ACQUITY Console Software
• Wartungsarbeiten am Binary Solvent Manager, Sample Manager und PDA Detector

Workshop 3: ACQUITY FLR Detector - Besonderheiten der Fluoreszenzdetektion:
• Optischer Aufbau des ACQUITY FLR Detectors & Parameter der Instrument Method
• Bestimmung der optimalen Ex/Em-Wellenlängen & Bestimmung des optimalen Gain-Werts
• Überprüfung der Performance des ACQUITY FLR Detectors
