Comment/Description

This class is dedicated to the intersection of musical behaviors, health, and wellbeing. This means that a main interest in music, but no specific expertise or musical knowledge is required. We will retrieve research papers that address health and wellbeing-related issues in the context of musical behaviours. The specific topics in terms of research papers will be selected by students in collaboration with me. Each selected paper will be subject to critical appraisal, a concept that will be explained in detail during the first sessions.

Students of the Masters Neurocognitive Psychology (für psy141 - Minor) or of any other MA program, including international students, are cordially invited. There have been numerous participants in this class from different programs.
