This seminar is conducted jointly by a female philosopher (Carla Schriever) as well as a female physicist (Betti Hart-mann). Each week, we will discuss the work of a female phi-losopher and a female physicist, respectively, and demon-strate the importance of their contributions. We will also try to discuss parallels in the life paths and demonstrate how the philosophical thinking of the corresponding epoch has influ-enced the development of physical theories or vice versa.
Students will be provided with material a week before the seminars and hence can contribute actively in the discussions.
