Comment/Description

Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung werden grundlegende Aspekte der Elektronenmikroskopie (mit einem Schwerpunkt auf der Transmissions-Elektronenmikroskopie) vorgestellt.
Themen umfassen u.a.: Elektronenquellen, elektronen-optische Elemente, Elektronendetektoren, Wellenoptik, elastische und inelastische Wechselwirkung schneller Elektronen mit Materialien, Interpretation Bildkontrast, Methoden der Elektronenmikroskopie, aktuelle Forschungsfelder in der Elektronenmikroskopie.
In der begleitenden Übung werden neben „traditionellen“ Übungsaufgaben auch quantitative Modelle zur Beschreibung der elektronen-optischen Bildentstehung entwickelt und mittels Matlab-Skripten implementiert. Vorkenntnisse in Matlab-Skripting sind nicht notwendig. Eine Matlab-Einführung wird angeboten.
