Comment/Description

The professional network LinkedIn can be used to increase your visibility as a scientist. In this workshop, we will work together to design and create a LinkedIn profile based on principles we have agreed upon, which will be initiated through individual input, development, and discussion phases.
At the end of the workshop, all participants will have:

• A complete LinkedIn profile with a welcome post tailored to their own career goals
• An individually formulated headline and About section with appropriate images and using specific
LinkedIn features
• A systematic linking of their profile to existing LinkedIn content, other websites, and academic
profiles
• An expanded network at their university as a starting point for further expanding their contacts
• Ideas for specific uses depending on the specific scenario (job and project acquisition,
collaborations, science communication, personal branding)

The target group are doctoral candidates and postdocs!

Admission settings

The course is part of admission "Beschränkte Teilnehmendenzahl: LinkedIn for PhD candidates and postdocs: From an empty profile to a strong presence (hands-on)".
The following rules apply for the admission:
  • The enrolment is possible from 19.05.2026, 11:07 to 27.10.2026, 11:07.
  • A defined number of seats will be assigned to these courses.
    The seats will be assigned in order of enrolment.
