Die Auswahl der Teilnehmenden wird nach der Eintragung manuell vorgenommen.
Nutzer/-innen, die sich für diese Veranstaltung eintragen möchten, erhalten nähere Hinweise und können sich dann noch gegen eine Teilnahme entscheiden.

Basierend auf der Vorlesung wird der Zusammenhang von Form und Funktion pflanzlicher Strukturen anhand verschiedener Gewebe, Grundorgane und/oder pflanzlicher Diasporen (Samen & Früchte) in Experimenten untersucht (z.B. Einfluss von Form, Größe und Gewicht der Diasporen auf Ihre Ausbreitung; Bedeutung der Gefäßdicke für die Leitfähigkeit, …).

Im Rahmen der Übungen sollen mit Hilfe von Experimenten bestehende Daten verifiziert werden, die Versuche auf neue Beispiele ausgeweitet werden und Vergleich zwischen unterschiedlichen Arten vorgenommen werden. Dabei wird auch (aktuelle) Fachliteratur einbezogen. Hierzu werden die Teilnehmer einen kurzen Vortrag zu einem aktuellen wissenschaftlichen Artikel halten und in der Gruppe diskutieren.
Die Vorbesprechung beider Veranstaltungen (Übung & VL/Seminar) findet an einem gemeinsamen Termin statt, der über StudIP kommuniziert wird. Dabei werden das Thema und der Termin für das Literaturseminar (Vortrag) festgelegt. Eine verbindliche Zusage zur Teilnahme an der Lehrveranstaltung erfolgt ca.10 Tage nach diesem Treffen.

Note: The practical course will be at least in parts in English. Students will reproduce and modify established experiments and discuss the results in light of the available literature. Results and own ideas to optimise/improve the experimental design will be discussed in the group.

The first meeting will address questions concerning the lecture/seminar and the practical course. Thus, there will a single appointment for both parts. Students will get the information via StudIP. The students will also pick a topic for a student presentation in the seminar.

Depending on the number of applications, we will inform all students approx. 10 days after the first meeting to let them know whether they are finally accepted for the practical course.
