Seminar (Sonder- und Rehabilitationspädagogik der Lebensphasen)
Comment/Description
This seminar addresses the diverse aspects of individual, institutional, and societal multilingualism within the context of inclusive education. We will explore different facets of multilingualism, including multilingual language acquisition, intersectional approaches to language, and practical strategies for working with multilingual children with special educational needs. The seminar will also take a close look at the topic of language discrimination (linguicism) in society, educational institutions, and in our own attitudes. By analyzing the intersection between language and discrimination, we will explore how we can create inclusive and equitable learning environments. Both mono- and multilingual participants are encouraged to reflect on their knowledge and beliefs regarding linguistic diversity.
All students, including those participating in Erasmus programs, are welcome to join the seminar and share their experiences and perspectives, regardless of their English proficiency levels.
