Comment/Description

The climate crisis and biodiversity loss among other ecological challenges are in greater awareness in organizations. To fulfill legal obligations for a more sustainable way of management and/or follow the purpose to regenerate our planet, private and public organizations undergo transformation processes on different levels. Employees in all positions and responsibilities are needed to support and drive forward the sustainable transformation. Additionally, organizations search for new employees who bring the competencies and skills needed to promote the transformation. Green Competencies and Skills!

We all bring different kinds of Green Competencies and Skills to take on these roles. What Green Competencies do you bring? How can you convey these Green Competencies in your application process and use them as a success factor? How do I determine the organization’s level in the social-green transformation – how sustainable is the organization?

Content of the Workshop:

o What do we understand by Green Competencies?
o What Green Competencies do I bring?
o The Inner Development Goals (IDGs) – framework of skills for inner development needed for
the sustainable transformation
o What skills of the IDG framework am I aware of? In which areas is my potential to strive?
o How do I determine the organization’s level in the social-green transformation? (actions,
certifications, reporting...)
o How do I successfully convey Green Competencies and Skills in the application process and in
job interviews?
o Your questions in the job interview - possibilities to determine the importance (mindset) of
sustainability in the organization

Target group: Final phase PHD/Doctorate and Postdocs
