Biology is the leading scientific field of the twenty-first century. The results of biological research (for example in genetics, molecular biology, biomedicine, or ecology) have wide reaching implications for our lives. Studying biology at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg offers the opportunity to specialise in the potential career fields of neurobiology, genetics, biochemistry, cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, biodiversity, ecology, and landscape development.
