Within the scope of the Dual-subject Bachelor, you can take Technology
Technology can be studied either in connection with a non-teaching career goal or as a professional teaching qualification. If you want to become a teacher, you must follow the combinations of subjects for each teaching position.
As an academic subject, the goal of technology is to teach the fundamentals of the technical sciences. Unlike the natural sciences, the technical sciences are focused on function. The technical sciences provide technological knowledge for production, administration, infrastructure, supply, disposal and recycling. The subject of technology is therefore strongly geared towards application and action. Students develop a fundamental understanding of technology by discovering, constructing, programming and building prototypes themselves. Apart from imparting basic technical knowledge regarding the fields of metals, wood and plastics technology, electrical engineering and automation, other important aspects of technical education are technical evaluation and impact analysis, without which it would be impossible to deal responsibly with the opportunities and risks afforded by technology.
