The individual courses will be held at both locations in Oldenburg and Emden. The University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer and the University of Oldenburg are among the medium-sized higher education institutions providing several advantages without facing drawbacks of such a magnitude. There is a pleasant and personal learning atmosphere without anonymity.
Graduates are awaiting numerous opportunities for their career entry. Beside the classical management consulting various entry opportunities such as internal management consultancies, consulting associations or other advisory organisations like in the field of training can be considered. Consulting expertise is becoming more and more a key qualification for executives, therefore graduates will have access to a wide range of entry-level opportunities in staff and line functions in industrial and service companies (for example, in the area of human resources and training).
Other professional fields include consulting and management-related activities in the public service and in the field of science (e.g. consulting research, organizational research, strategic management, coaching, mentoring). In addition, the first step into self-employment in the field of "Professional Services" is conceivable.

An entry into the consulting industry is an extremely attractive career option with good promotion and earning opportunities. In numerous rankings on "favourite employers", consulting companies usually take place in top positions. The shortage of skilled workers also has a positive impact on the consulting industry, which is why the majority of companies see the recruitment of young talent as a major challenge in the coming years.
A career entry for graduates of the Management Consulting programme is particularly expected at external and internal management consultancies, consulting associations or other consulting organizations, such as meta consulting (e.g. in the field of training and further education).
In principle research and development in the still young area of management consultancy, especially meta consulting are also providing possible job opportunities.
