VL/SE Discussions on aquatic microbiology

In the course “Aquatic microbiology” students learn about Bacteria, Archaea, and Eukarya, their origin and fate, and the processes they mediate in the aquatic environment. Students identify the role of aquatic microorganisms in the biogeochemical cycles and learn about classical and molecular based methods to study aquatic microorganism.
Specialist skills
The students:
- deepen their specialist knowledge of microorganisms
- are able to describe the importance of microorganisms in biochemical cycles

Allgemeine Ökologie (VL)

Die Studierenden besitzen Kenntnisse über die theoretischen Grundlagen der verschiedenen Disziplinen der Ökologie und können sie in der Praxis anwenden. Sie können Ergebnisse aus der ökologischen Literatur und aus eigenen Untersuchungen auswerten, darstellen und kritisch interpretieren.
