Skills to be acquired in this module	Students will develop the ability to: conceptually understand and formulate environmental problems based on microeconomic theory; classify different types of pollution, related environmental problems, and the corresponding market failures; recommend appropriate policy instruments to adress environmental problems critically analyze environmental policy interventions.
Module contents	Theory of welfare economics and environmental goods; Pollution problems and targets; Policy instruments; Cost-Benefit-Analysis.
