The students are able to work (under guidance) on a project dealing with a specific scientific question. They use appropiate methods and carry out experiments to collect data. These data can be documented, analysed and interpreted. The students understand recent scientific literature and can regard it for their own work. They can present and defend their work in the public.

Active participation: Active and documented participation in practical courses (labs, exercises, seminars, field trips) and courses. These include e.g. the delivery of exercises, writing a lab report or seminar presentations according to the advice of the course supervisor.
