Learning outcomes/competencies

The students are enabled to understand the basic concept of modularized Hyperloop system components and their application. The students gain compentences in interdisciplinary project management, communication, resource planning and procurement and self-organization in addition to engineering and physical expertise. Theorganization of complex tasks in Hyperloop systems is imparted using the example of the development of an experimental vehicle. The students gain an overview on the hyperloop transportation ecosystem and insights into pratical applications by working on subtasks independently, problems and solution approaches are coordinated in a multidisciplinary and international team, solutions are implemented and documented in a comprehensible way. The intercultural competence is expanded in a practical way in the team. Part of the course will be an online seminar with presentations from students and industry experts about state-of-the-art research topics on Hyperloop Systems. An optionally excursion to a hyperloop facility enables the students to transfer the acquired course knowledge to practical experience.
