Learning outcomes/competencies

Die Studierenden
- verfügen über Kenntnisse über die theologische und rechtliche Grundlegung der sozialen Arbeit der Diakonie sowie ihre geschichtliche Entwicklung.
- können das diakonische Handeln der Kirche sowohl theoriegeleitet als auch praxisorientiert wahrnehmen, reflektieren und diese Kenntnisse in pädagogischen und kirchlichen Berufs- und Handlungsfeldern fruchtbar einbringen.
- haben die praktische Arbeit der Diakonie an ausgewählten Orten exemplarisch kennengelernt.

Module contents

In einer ersten Veranstaltung (VL/S im Sommersemester) werden die biblischen und theologischen Grundlagen diakonischen Handelns vermittelt. Eine weitere Veranstaltung (S/Pr im Wintersemester) bietet einen theoriegeleiteten Einblick in diakonische Praxisfelder (Einrichtungen).
