Students obtain basic knowledge in application of mathematical methods to solve problems in physics and engineering
 Vector algebra (vectors in 2 and 3space, vector products, planes, lines, cylindrical and spherical coordinates)
 Preliminary calculus (elementary functions, limits, series, differentiation, integration)
 Preliminary complex analysis
 Introduction to ordinary differential equations
 Partial differentiation
 Vector calculus (scalar and vector fields, vector operators, line, surface and volume integrals, divergence and Stokes’ theorem)
