  • In addition to current topics in radiation physics, students learn how to use
    technical journals in the field, most of which are in English. Furthermore,
    presentation techniques are taught through student presentations. Parallel to the course, students learn
    how to use a Monte Carlo radiation transport code (EGS), thereby deepening their
    ability to translate complex physical models into software.
• 5.04.4642:
  • The course teaches students to understand basic applications of
    radiation physics in medicine. Students thus expand their skills with regard to
    the evaluation of interdisciplinary collaboration between different disciplines. They
    also learn how to independently use foreign-language literature.
