Skills to be acquired in this module

The students will acquire in-depth knowledge in the field of speech processing and speech technology. The students will be able to (a) explain the foundations of speech production, perception, and analysis, (b) understand the mathematical and information-theoretic principles of speech signal processing, and (c) apply the covered methods to explain the working principles of practical speech processing systems.
