    Die Veranstaltung bietet eine Einführung in die wesentlichen Konzepte, Instrumente und Modelle der Betriebswirtschaftslehre. Hierfür werden zunächst wichtige Grundbegriffe vorgestellt und ein Überblick über die Geschichte, Ziele, Gliederung und Forschungsströmungen der BWL gegeben. Im Anschluss erhalten die Studierenden in 12 Themenblöcken Einsichten in die wichtigsten Bereiche betriebswirtschaftlichen Handelns: (1) Unternehmensgründung, (2) Unternehmensführung, (3) Organisation, (4) Materialwirtschaft und Logistik, (5) Produktionswirtschaft, (6) Marketing und Vertrieb, (7) Rechnungswesen und Controlling, (8) Investition und Finanzierung, (9) Technologie- und Innovationsmanagement, (10) Personalmanagement, (11) Informationsmanagement und (12) Nachhaltigkeitsmanagement. Das in der Vorlesung erworbene Wissen wird in Tutorien angewandt und vertieft. Des Weiteren umfasst die Veranstaltung Gastvorträge von Unternehmensvertretern, die die praktische Relevanz des Erlernten verdeutlichen.
