Skills to be acquired in this module
Students: • develop an understanding of the functions of private households and consumers in the economic process • have a command of behavioural theory principles in economics • analyse explanatory models of consumer behaviour • understand the pricing mechanism in perfect markets • analyse the functions of businesses in the economic process, in both the general economic process and regional economies • deal with fundamental attributes of businesses (esp. organization, management, legal forms) • apply the fundamentals of external accounting • develop questions for the orientation internship.
