    The lecture of this module deals with the development, anatomy and function of the auditory system from cochlea to cortex, classification molecular causes and inheritance of auditory disorders, as well as the investigation of these disorders in animal models.

    In this seminar we will discuss possibilities of treatments and therapies for auditory disfunction on a molecular level, their development in animal models and their possible application in humans. Students will work on the seminar topics in a flipped classroom approach.
