This master thesis presents the design and implementation of an intelligent visitor guidance system employing human-robot interaction for enhanced navigation and assistance in public spaces. The system utilizes a robotic guide equipped with advanced sensors and communication capabilities to interact with visitors, understand their queries, and provide personalized guidance to desired destinations. Drawing inspiration from developments in robotics, artificial intelligence, and natural language processing, the thesis explores the technical architecture and algorithmic frameworks necessary to enable seamless communication and navigation between the robot guide and visitors. Through a combination of theoretical analysis, algorithm development, and practical experimentation, the thesis evaluates the performance, usability, and user satisfaction of the visitor guidance system in real-world scenarios.
