- Treat others as you would like to be treated, even in the digital space.
- Your well-founded opinion is important; the exchange with students and lecturers is essential for your studies. Give and accept constructive criticism. Create a respectful atmosphere in which thoughts, ideas and arguments can mature.
- Everyone has the right to freedom of speech. The limit is where the dignity and rights of others are violated.
- Stud.IP is supposed to be a free place for open exchange without discrimination. Bullying is the opposite of respectful interaction, and it is not a trivial offence. Do not tolerate any form of bullying and do not make yourself guilty of bullying.
- For those who find it difficult: only post what you would say to someone's face in person. Anonymity does not protect you from being punished for breaking the rules!
- Good academic practice: Even when communicating in Stud.IP, it is necessary to cite your own sources and the corresponding person of authorship. Check your links to external websites and check your sources for credibility and accuracy.
- Do not publish personal data such as e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, personal addresses or pictures of others.
- If you want to know more, take a look at the Stud.IP terms of use.
