Prerequisites for this master course include: 1.) Basic wind energy course, e.g., 5.04.648 Wind Energy Utilisation (BA) or 5.06.M125 Basics of Wind Energy (MA) or 5.04.4061 Wind Energy Physics (MA) or equivalent knowledge 2.) Experience with MATLAB or Python
o Introduction to industrial wind turbine design, o rotor aerodynamics and Blade Element Momentum (BEM) theory, o dynamic loading and system dynamics, o wind field modelling for fatigue and extreme event load-ing, o design loads and design aspects of onshore wind tur-bines, o simulation and measurements of dynamic loads, o design of offshore wind turbines.
