Dangerous marine animals

Die Studierenden besitzen nach Besuch der LV vertieftes Wissen über die Biologie und die Wirkmechanismen von gefährlichen Meeresorganismen. Zudem sind Behandlungsmethoden bekannt.

Ecology of Macrobenthos Communities

Die Studierenden besitzen nach Besuch der LV vertieftes Wissen über die Ökologie von marinen benthischen Gemeinschaften. Es werden aktuelle ökologische Konzepte und interspezifische Interaktionen diskutiert und die Folgen anthropogen verursachter Veränderungen sind deutlich geworden. Den Teilnehmern wurde insbesondere die Gemeinschaften des Makrozoobenthos und Makrophytobenthos nah gebracht. 

Module contents

Dangerous marine animals

The following topics are covered in the lectures and seminars: biology of the major groups of dangerous marine animals; traumatic injuries; toxicity by contact or ingestion; toxin chemistry and function; accident prevention; first aid; students present case studies and first aid procedures during the seminars.

Ecology of Macrobenthos communities

Current ecological concepts and interspecific interactions are discussed.
