Students become aquainted with important methods in diverse areas of biology (e.g. biochemistry, plant physiology, animal physiology, genetics, population biology, functional ecology). Practical and theoretical skills will enrich the methodology portfolio of the teachers-to-be. At least some of the methods will be directly applicable in real-life teaching situations.
