Skills to be acquired in this module
Goals of module: Students will acquire specific knowledge about sex differences in cognitive abilities and social
behaviours. They will be able to understand the interrelated impact of social and biological
influences on the brain’s control of the (sex-specific) behaviours. Students should be able to
critically evaluate behavioural sex differences from different perspectives and to reflect on
possible implications for society.
