Prerequisites	Completed Bachelors degree
Reference text	The module (3 ECTS) supports the students in the writing of the Master's thesis (24 ECTS) and must be taken during the semester in which the Master's thesis is written. The topic of the Master's thesis must be related to the teaching of economics

Module examination	The module (3 ECTS) supports the students in the writing of the Master's thesis (24 ECTS) and must be taken during the semester in which the Master's thesis is written. The topic of the Master's thesis must be related to the teaching of economics.
Skills to be acquired in this module	Students can identify a scholarly topic from the field of economics and focus it for the purpose of writing a Master's thesis can with a large degree of independence develop a keen knowledge of the selected subject area, reflecting the current state of research use appropriate scholarly methods and research techniques in order to independently produce a scholarly paper are able to reflect on scholarly opinions regarding the subject matter in a broad context and discuss and critically analyse solutions to problems with teaching staff and fellow students produce a written proposal for a Master's thesis.
