1.01.802 - Instructional Design in Digital Learning (Schwerpunkt Bildungsmanagement und Mediendidaktik)

Tuesday: 12:00 - 14:00, weekly (from 15/10/24)

This seminar will cover the main phases of instructional design in e-learning from a theoretical perspective but mainly from a practical projection through project work, following a research-based learning approach. During this process, you will be able to design and develop a concept for an e-learning course and develop it, choosing from a broad range of digital tools you will try out during the seminar. This course is expected to be conducted largely through hands-on exercises with laptops/tablets, although a theoretical and critical perspective through analysis and discussions will be present as well. The course will be in English, but the seminar's tasks, interventions, and evaluation can be in German.
1.01.803 - Artificial Intelligence in Education (Schwerpunkt Bildungsmanagement und Mediendidaktik)

This seminar will cover the basics of artificial intelligence applications in education from a multi-disciplinary perspective. The course will be in English, including the seminar's tasks, interventions, and evaluation.

Skills to be acquired in this module	Am Ende des Moduls können die Studierenden: Zentrale Theorien im Kontext des medienvermittelten Lernens und Lehrens wiedergeben. Schritte und Methoden des Instructional Design Prozesses beschreiben und planen. Die historische Entwicklung bildungstechnologischer Innovationen beschreiben. Formen und Tools der synchronen/asynchronen computervermittelten Kommunikation benennen und nutzen. Die Bedeutung interkultureller Aspekte internationaler Online-Kurse beurteilen. Aufgrund definierter Lernziele selbst ein Modul für einen E-Learning Kurs konzipieren. Methoden und Instrumente zur Evaluation und Qualitätssicherung von E-Learning und Bildungstechnologien benennen und in Grundzügen anwenden.
