Prüfungsleistung Modul 1 Portfolio Kompetenzziele After completing this module, students will be able to distinguish different levels of theories (Social theories or conceptual frameworks, middle range theories, theories of society), and to understand the relevance of conceptual frameworks for empirical research. Examples for different conceptual frameworks are: action theory, RC-theory and game theory, institutiontheory or practice theory. On this basis, students can identify the premises of the respective approaches and assess their conceptual coherence. They will be able to compare different conceptual frameworks and evaluate their relevance for empirical research. Furthermore students will be able to analyze social research as a social practice, which is shaped by particular interests, social conditions and interactions.
