Beschreibung:	On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the partnership between Towson Univer-sity and the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg Dr. Phillip Collister, Assistant Chairperson and associate professor in the Department of Music and Peter Vollhardt, Delegate for international relationship in the Institut für Musik and responsible for the division Musik, Szene, Theater (Music, Scene Theatre) make the following proposal: Bringing together students from Germany, the U.S.A and Cuba around a universal language (music and rhythm) and a universal theme (love in its myriad expressions). This original revue will deal with love relationships of a multitude of characters across many time periods of music and across the cultures of both Germany, the U.S., and Cuba (i.e. solo vocal, opera, choral, musical theatre, cabaret, instrumental and vocal chamber music, jazz, rock/pop and other contemporary idioms). This material will serve as the basis for creative research into how this particular generation of stu-dents experience relationships in contemporary society: relationships between lovers, between parents and children, between the individual and society, to name only a few possibilities. “Love Through Time” should be interpreted in a double sense: relationships in different time periods and cultures as well as a musical term: to sing or to play “in time” with a rhythmic balance point. Dieses Projekt wird mit Live-Video-Projektionen unterstützt. Diese werden aus Ka-merasignalen und vorproduziertem Material in einer Live-Regie gemischt. Hierfür ist eine intensive wie gewissenhafte Planung, Vorbereitung und Konzeption zwingende Voraussetzung. Im WS 12/13 wird die sowohl technische wie auch künstlerische Konzeption in enger Zusammenarbeit mit allen Beteiligten Inhalt der Veranstaltung sein. Zusätzlich sind Online-Proben zwischen Towson und Oldenburg zu betreuen. Wir werden uns mit allen beteiligten Gewerken wie Kamera, Produktionsleitung, Ton und Bildregie auseinandersetzen. Die Aufführungen finden im SoSe13 in den Towson und Oldenburg statt, hierfür wird es eine Folgeveranstaltung geben, die Teilnahme an beiden Veranstaltungen ist wünschenswert, jedoch keine Voraussetzung.
