Aim of this seminar is to inform about and discuss current issues of gender equality and family friendliness in science. This will be done from a broader perspective as well as at the example of the University of Oldenburg. The topic gender and science will be looked at from different angles. The seminar will be a mixture of (invited) talks, discussions, (internet) research on selected topics and short presentations. The course will be taught in German.
