Objectives
In the course of this seminar, you will
- read some very well-known Anglophone Nigerian texts and reflect on their place in the field of postcolonial literatures.
- encounter the history of Anglophone Nigerian writing via the motif of spirit children.
- hone your close reading skills.
- engage with secondary literature.
- practise your presentation skills.
- develop individual research questions related to the seminar’s topic.
