What are my competencies, skills and my potential? Where is my place to work, where I can be effective and bring in my full potential, competencies and skills? How does it look like? What do I need?
These are significant questions to start into your career after finishing your PHD or doctorate. In this workshop you will learn and reflect about your individual competencies and skills and the potentials you bring. With this knowledge you will develop ideas how to convey your skills to People and Culture as well as to Managers in job interviews.
After having left a positive impression with your CV People and Culture as well as Managers will focus - besides your expertise - significantly on your soft skills. Now it is your job to convey your skills in a successful way to confirm the positive first impression.
Objectives of this 2-day workshop are becoming aware of your competencies, skills and your potential and developing a clear idea about your future place to work. Please note:
Due to a large number of very short-term cancellations and unannounced absences in the recent past we would like to point out again that registrations for workshops of the Graduate Academy are binding. Cancellations are only acceptable under imperative circumstances and need to be announced as early as possible. If this is not the case, workshop places that have become available cannot be given to individuals on the waiting list or the workshop cannot be cancelled in due course in the case of low demand. In this case high cancellation fees occur. Under these circumstances the offer of the Graduate Academy cannot be held up in the medium term.
