Beschreibung: 2 Wochenendtermine Beginn jeweils Freitag 15:00 Uhr im November und Januar Liebe TeilnehmerInnen und Interessierte an dieser außergewöhnlichen Veranstaltung. Das Angebot bietet die Gelegenheit, sich mit kroatischen Songs zu beschäftigen und diese dann beim A cappella Abend 2015 auf die Bühne zu bringen. Dazu wird ein erster Block am 29/30 November jeweils von 10 bis “maximal” 18 Uhr angeboten. Kurz vor dem A cappella Abend Anfang 2015 gibt es dann noch die Gelegenheit, das Ganze in kurzen Sessions und Bühnenproben aufzufrischen, um dann sicher mit zwei drei Songs auf die Bühne zu gehen. Frau Grguric ist eine erfahrene Chorleiterin mit internationaler Erfahrung und kann mit Sicherheit auch den Spaß an den von ihr ausgewählten Chorstücken vermitteln. Besonders interessant ist der Versuch, sich dabei irgendwie zu verständigen (Frau Gruguric spricht Englisch und “Musik”) sowie mal in einer slavischen Sprache zu singen. Wir glauben, dass das im Rahmen des Abends im Januar ein sehr interessantes Feature sein wird. Diese Veranstaltung ist ein Baustein unserer EU-geförderten Kooperation mit der Universität Rijeka (vgl. Text Frau Grguric). Im nächsten Schritt möchte ich dort demnächst Summercourses zum Thema Live-Djing zusammen mit Oldenburger und Kroatischen Studenten anbieten. In music as an extraordinary human artistic practice lies meaning such as cultural, historical, social, and even personal. Because of that the adopting of music provides new experience. The Seminar by professor Diana Grgurić from the University of Rijeka, Croatia gives you an opportunity to get it. Theoretical and practical ways of her lectures include teaching two songs as the three-parts singing scores. The songs arrangements are very attractive and include different musical styles elements such as traditional Croatian music, jazz and popular music. Students will practice singing with the intention of performing the songs at Oldenburg A cappella music evening 2015 The Seminar will held november 29th to 30th, 2014. Additional pracricing will be held on demand right before the A cappella evening so tha we all will be on the safe side to enter the stage. Curriculum vitae Diana Grgurić, Assistant Professor, I was born in Rijeka, Croatia, in 1962, where I also completed my primary and secondary education. In 1985 I graduated at the University of Zagreb Academy of Music in musicology. In 2007 I obtained my PhD degree at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, on the theme of intermediality of music and literature, the field of humanities related to art, more specifically, musicology and ethnomusicology. Since 2008 I have been employed at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Cultural Studies. Since 1996 I have been conductor and art director of the 4'33'' group. The group has had numerous performances in Croatia and abroad (Balatonfired, Hungary, in 1998, Modena, Italy, in 1995, Vienna, Austria, in 2002, University of Graz, Austria, in 2006, Wuppertal, Frankfurt, Hannover, Dortmund, Düsseldorf, Gelsenchirchen and Levercusen in Germany, in 2004, Bad Säckingen in 2006). The 4'33'' group is devoted to art-vocal music that is on the track of vocal and instrumental music of folklore origin, arranged with electronic, synthetic and factual sounds. According to the contemporary music trends, these music pieces are labeled as artistic products of world music. The group has published a number of music albums and projects, the last of which, Vidih vodu, is a music stage performance that revives Glagolitic melodies. In the academic year 2013/14, I conceptually devised and launched the lifelong learning program continuing education “ Sound and Music Production ” accredited at the University of Rijeka. I took part in a number of conferences in Croatia and abroad. The last one was42nd ICTM World Conference in Shanghai, China, organised by the International Council for Traditional Music in Shanghai from11-17 July 2013. The title of my paper was: „Generative Audience and Cultural Industry: The Use of Enterainment Metafrequency in the Mirror of the Theory of Entrainment“.
