Beschreibung:	An intensive course is now available for students who are writing, or are about to commence writing, their Master thesis in English. The target group are those of you who have recently commenced your thesis and require some advice and tips about how you should continue or are due to start their thesis in the very near future. Maybe you envisage some problems with how to structure such a thesis in English, maybe you are unsure of the correct grammar and terminology. This course is not for those of you who have completed your thesis and are looking for a proofreader! In the first session on Thursday 06 February we will explore some general issues about academic writing in English. We will exchange experiences, challenges and difficulties and will then allocate each of you to one of the above named lecturers who will then arrange individual sessions that will take place during the following weeks in the semester break at mutually agreed times. The required level of English for this course is B2. If you have not completed a course in the Sprachenzentrum at this level you will be asked to take a 30 minute multiple choice Einstufungstest to ensure that your English is at the required level.
