Description:
This workshop is designed to guide students through a hands-on, practical experience with filmmaking. The workshop uses various media tools, such as video photography and sound, as the core to build their video essays. Students will experiment with how different forms of media can be combined to create narrative or non-narrative storytelling. The goal of this workshop is for students to apply what they learn to journal their stories in a unique tone and style—focusing on the personal and creative aspects of the workshop. This workshop focuses on storytelling and creating emotions rather than using equipment and software.
