PhD students deepen their knowledge of current histological techniques that are used in neuroscience and train to use these techniques in their own research context. Orientiert an speziell ausgewählten oder auch selbstbestimmten Projekten erwerben die Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden umfangreiche Kenntnisse über die gängigen histologischen Techniken die in den Neurowissenschaften Anwendung finden und lernen, diese auf ihre eigenen Forschungsvorhaben anzuwenden. Des Weiteren soll die Bildbearbeitung für wissenschaftliche Publikationen anhand von Adobe Photoshop erlernt und vertieft werden. In case you can't attend just on one or two days due to exams or visa interviews, you have the chance of making up for the missed time by self-study of the course documents, which will be uploaded at the end of each day.
