Die Vorlesung behandelt charakteristische Probleme mathematischer Modellbildung anhand von Beispielen aus verschiedenen mathematischen Gebieten, insbesondere der Stochastik. Außerdem erfolgt eine Reflexion didaktischer Aspekte der Stochastik und Anwendung von Mathematik.
