Skills to be acquired in this module

Students will learn the basic skills required of a radiation protection officer. In addition to the technical fundamentals of radiation protection, this includes, in particular, the ability to navigate German law and the administrative system in the field of radiation protection.

Module contents

Radiation protection in tele- and brachytherapy, construction of accelerators, dosimetry, structural and organizational radiation protection, StrSchG and StrSchV as well as associated DIN standards.
