Lernergebnisse/Kompetenzen

Originalfassung

Students gain knowledge of the basic principles of atomic and molecular physics. They gain the ability to distinguish between classical and quantum mechanical descriptions of microscopic matter by discussing key experiments. They acquire the competence to combine knowledge from experimental physics with mathematical and theoretical skills to interpret and qualitatively or quantitatively describe phenomena of atomic and molecular physics. The exercises and tutorials deepen the knowledge by assigning appropriate homework.
