This workshop is all about getting your introduction written. Whether a journal article, research paper or otherwise, we will review examples and elements that go into creating a clear, concise and convincing introduction. By the end, you will have a first draft of an introduction.

Target Group: Doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers

Please note:
Due to a large number of very short-term cancellations and unannounced absences in the recent past we would like to point out again that registrations for workshops of the Graduate Academy are binding. Cancellations are only acceptable under imperative circumstances and need to be announced as early as possible. If this is not the case, workshop places that have become available cannot be given to individuals on the waiting list or the workshop cannot be cancelled in due course in the case of low demand. In this case high cancellation fees occur. Under these circumstances the offer of the Graduate Academy cannot be held up in the medium term.

Anmelderegeln

Diese Veranstaltung gehört zum Anmeldeset "Zeitgesteuerte Anmeldung: Writing Introductions".
Folgende Regeln gelten für die Anmeldung:
  • Folgende Personenkreise werden bei der Platzverteilung bevorzugt:
    • Abschluss ist Promotion (1237 Personen)
  • Es wird eine festgelegte Anzahl von Plätzen in den Veranstaltungen verteilt.
    Die Plätze werden in der Reihenfolge der Anmeldung vergeben.
  • Die Anmeldung ist möglich von 14.07.2023, 12:00 bis 24.01.2024, 23:59.

Die Anmeldung ist verbindlich, Teilnehmende können sich nicht selbst austragen.
