The Oldenburg Energy Informatics Group (at the University and OFFIS) is the internationally largest and best-known research group working on digitalization in the energy sector and driving the energy transition. In this lecture, we will present and discuss active research areas and directions in this domain. In each session, we will deep-dive into an ongoing research project (e.g. transfer-oriented smart grid projects with global industry partners) and offer insights as well as career perspectives for graduates in this exciting and timely field of practice.
